Whole Lotta Shifting Going On! Yep, even MORE shift is hitting the fan. Excellent summary of our current astrology...

Hello...I will not usually be making such long posts but this one was such a thorough and excellent summmary of the current astrology, put together by my friend and colleague, Tomar Levine, that I wanted to share this with you. And now, from Tomar: Greetings, fellow cosmic traveler ~ Is this month the beginning of a new reality? (Read on and find out.) We are certainly going through a portal. But portals are not just ‘one and done.’ Not just a simple doorway you pass through. They are more like corridors... with many doors. More like a birth canal. We are in that now. You can think of the whole coronavirus reality as the squeezing and tightening of muscles pushing us forward, out of one world into another. A difficult birth. You may have heard about the major astrological passages happening this month as portals to a new reality. I’m excited to share this story with you (please stay with me, this is amazing): On Monday, Dec. 14, we have a Total Solar Eclipse/ New Moon that is considered a major event of the year, perhaps the decade. Eclipses always are intense and can bring sudden unpredictable shifts, upheavals, and opportunities. It will birth something and preside over an ending too. Eclipses are wild cards. (Do we need more of those?) The window of change for this eclipse lasts till Dec. 21st. Then the BIG event starts to gather force. On Dec. 17th the planet Saturn enters the sign of Aquarius (and will stay there till March 2023 - Saturn is slow.). Saturn, god of form, structure, restriction, and impediments moves into the sign of freedom. And with it the opportunity to create new structures, and the rising of movements for change, even revolution (these have occurred in the past with Saturn in Aquarius). Two days later on the 19th, Jupiter, the behemoth of the solar system, also slips into Aquarius (until Dec. 31, 2021). Now we’re talking some fiery energy of change! Jupiter is all about expansion, generosity, possibilities and good fortune. Everything it touches expands. Jupiter and Saturn balance each other: the effusive grandness of inspirational vision with the grounded discipline of no-nonsense form - in other words, the ability to turn dreams into reality! (Yay - we can make use of this!) As these two gas giants approach each other they meet in a Great Conjunction on Dec. 21st - just a few hours past the Solstice! (VERY rare.) This is the great event that sets many things in motion. Visually, the two planets seem to merge in the night sky (although actually separated by millions of miles), forming a very bright light that you may be able to see - for the first time in 800 years. This is catnip to astronomers. Said Patrick Hartigan, Prof. of Astronomy at Rice Univ: "You'd have to go all the way back to just before dawn on March 4, 1226, to see a closer alignment between these objects visible in the night sky. ... On the evening of December 21, they will look like a double planet." Image Astrologically, the implications are even more powerful. Jupiter and Saturn are constant partners in the sky, meeting in conjunction every twenty years, and every 200 years the Zodiacal signs they meet in change from one element to another (earth, water, fire, air). When this happens it’s called a Great Conjunction. Their meeting at 0 degrees Aquarius on Dec. 21st intensifies the power of Aquarius and ends 200 years of dancing in Earth signs and the beginning of 200 years of Air energy. What does this mean for us? A change of world view! This partnership of Jupiter and Saturn sets the themes for human society, and for the past 200 years we’ve been dominated by dense, heavy, materialistic Earth energy. This has brought us the Industrial Revolution, capitalism, corporations, fossil fuel, money obsession and the idea of permanent ownership of tons of 'stuff.' The change to Air will lighten things up quite a bit: from “things” to thought, from possessiveness to sharing, from competition to cooperation, from top-down hierarchy to horizontal equality, inspiration and innovation. The last time Jupiter and Saturn met in Aquarius was in 1405, signaling the start of the Renaissance, the flowering of creative genius, and the invention of the printing press, the first step of global communication...(leading to the Internet and beyond). The last time Jupiter and Saturn were conjunct almost this close to the Solstice was around the time of the birth of Yeshua/ Jesus (the Christmas star?) - and the start of the Piscean age! Wow! Image Which brings us to the REALLY BIG EVENT being talked about - the shift from the Piscean to the Aquarian era. Some are calling this the official start of the Age of Aquarius! Astrological ages are determined by the precession of the equinoxes and last around 2000 years - so they don’t change overnight. We’ve been witnessing the gradual shifting of collective consciousness since the 1960’s. But this Great Conjunction could well signify the final push of the baby out of the birth canal into full birth. It is an incredible honor to be able to be midwives of this birth, is it not?! But then, that’s why we chose to be born now! What qualities can we expect to see increase with the Age of Aquarius? First of all, the shifting of values from “me” to “we” - from individualism to collaboration and concern for humanity as a whole. Aquarius emphasizes individual genius and innovation, leaning toward technology, but to serve the common good more than personal gain. (Do you know anyone like that?) The younger generations on the planet now, starting with the Millennials, already show strong Aquarian features. The profound astrologer, Lorna Bevans (Hare in the Moon) puts it this way: “Over the coming years, the Aquarian shift will take us away from the materialistic society we live in now, and into a more networked, collaborative and mentally curious time. It will bring our attention to systems of life generally hidden, the resonance of frequencies, bio-networks, free energy and peer-to-peer networking.” (Look for FREE ENERGY in the next 20 years. Also, I expect, many technological and healing advances that have been suppressed will be revealed and embraced.) She goes on: “The shift into Air marks the beginning of the end of building empires and consolidating power based on a top-down, hierarchal model. We are transitioning into an Aquarian Age of Technology and Ecology after 200 years of Age of Economics. To make the breakthroughs we need in climate change, food supplies, medicine and science we need emergent thinking along with global power sharing and networking.” So the 200 year shift into AIR and the 2000 year shift into AQUARIUS are one and the same. Astro-Butterfly, another astrologer, adds: “New groups, communities, connections, and alliances will form. These new networks will have one thing in common: they will be decentralized, self-regulated, and will allow for individual freedom of expression.” Obviously for this to happen will require a profound shift in consciousness on the part of a significant percentage of humans. We call this Awakening. And many say we’ve finally reached a tipping-point. And it keeps increasing. The visionary astrologer Elizabeth Peru says about the next ten years that “the new energy decade of 2020 - 2030 will see more change in 10 years than we’ve known in the past 10,000 years!” Yikes! But here’s the thing: None of this is happening right away. First comes a continuing process of demolition and clean up. The full shift into Aquarius probably won’t be complete until 2024 (astrologically speaking). And even then it continues to be a process. The year 2021 may be filled with conflict as these two realities - the old and the new - collide even more. Aquarius is all about speed, so events may unfold more quickly than usual. The first few months in particular may feel chaotic as more elements of our system go through an unravelling process. Our job is to stay strongly centered, calmly anchored, and focused on the vision of what’s coming, no matter how things appear. By sensing and affirming the reality of the new world - which I call the Golden Future - the faster we will bring it in. This depend on us. There are multiple possible timelines before humanity and the future can unfold in different ways. Let’s make this transition that we came to support as beautiful and easy as possible. We have at this time a momentous opportunity for our own growth and to pour energy into the vision of the world we long for - the “more beautiful world our hearts know is possible” (to use Charles Eisenstein’s perfect words). According to astrologer Pam Gregory, “December offers us ... the greatest single opportunity in our lifetimes so far for a huge evolutionary upgrade for humanity.” Use the Solstice energy well - by being mindful, doing some kind of conscious process (joining a group event is optional and there will be many) - and most of all, keep your personal energy high and infused with positivity and the vision of the new world we are here to birth.
